ONE
OF THE FIRST EXAMPLES OF OTTOMAN POETS’ CRITICISM TO EACH OTHER : CAFER ÇELEBI’S
CRITICISM |
| Dr. Necati SUNGUR |
In Ottoman poetry, criticism was condensed especially on the poets’ term and its poems. Poets’ criticism to each other is a first known example by Cafer Çelebi. Cafer Çelebi, the author of the famous poem Heves-name, in which Þeyhi and Ahmet Paþa the promoters of Ottoman poetry, are criticized very heavily. Cafer Çelebi’s criticism has caused an extensive reaction during his life and in our literature books today. In our work, Cafer Çelebi’s criticism has been discussed, evaluated and brought to a conclusion. |
