SURVEY of PERSONS in DEDE KORKUT STORIES
FROM THE POINT of THE STRUCTURES of CHARACTERS

ABSTRACT

 The book Dede Korkut is a complete narration which reflects the thoughts and values giving directions to the Turkish history. While twelve stories in the book describe universal side of human being, Turkish people are described in a circlized time and a cultural line. It is the first and most important chain of Turkish novel tradition reflecting honour, virtue, moral, preferences, curiosity, beliefs, weak sides, mind, values, tradition of Turkish nation. Dede Korkut stories are the projections of social values with deep systems in its background.
