During
the Middle Ages the art was genarally protected by the rulers. Nevertheles,
there were rulers in the Middle Ages who were artists themselves,
especialy poets. In this article, I will discuss the poet members of
Crimean dynasty, an important Khanet of the Caucaus in the Middle Ages and
their interaction with the art and practice of poetry. Evidences suggestt
that seventeen rulers (khans) from this dynasty were poets. I argue that
the interaction Crimean dynasty with poetry systems from their being
educated in the Ottoman palace after a decision of submission to Mehmet II,
The Conquerer after which members of the ruling dynasty had started to be
educated in Enderun. This paper tries to illustrate above mentioned
argument on the basis of comparative literary historical approach.
