THE CONCEPT OF CONTRARINESS AND ATOM-SUN SYMBOLIZM
IN DIVAN POETRY

        Poetry, which is the product of an intellectual activity, is a field where feelings and thoughts are reflected. These feeling and thoughts gain new meanings in poet's mind and form new meanings. The way we comment the literary texts will be different as long as we understand and solve the complex structure of both worlds.
One of the main sources Divan poetry based on is Sufism which discusses (examines) existence and non-exsistence from different sides. The contrarines of polytheism which is thought in the sense of monotheism has been told in detail in phenomenic world. Atom-sun contrarines which we often meet in Divan poetry shows such a structure.
