Takiyettin Mengüşoğlu deals with the structure of existence of the human beings in 17 categories in his work İnsan Felsefesi (Human Philosophy). To provide a new perspective in literary analilysis, these categories could be applied to the caharacters in literary texts. In this study, Mengüşoğlu's categories have been used to discuss the prisoners in Kemal Tahir's Esir Şeh-rin Mahpusu (The Prisoner of the Captivated City), and make judgments about Kemal Tahir's authorship. |
