Alphabet Problem of Kazakstan in History and Today

Abstract: The Turkish peoples have used very different alphabets trough art. The alphabets problem has been one of the most disputed subjects for the last two centuries in the Turkish world and Turcology.

Latin alphabet was the symbol of the civilisation, development and independence in Turkish communities. After the fall of the Soviet Union, accepted Turkic Republics of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to adapt Latin alphabet.

Kazakstan has not decided to use Latin alphabet. This article is analyzing above mentioned problems in economic, political and social-cultural aspects.
