Turkish Manufacturing Industry's Differentiation and Clustering in Terms of Productivity |

Abstract: In this study, by comparing firms', which operate in Tur kish Manufacturing Industry, total and factorial productivity in terms of regions, the clusters in terms of productivity indicators were examined. In the study, Turkey was divided into 14 regions geographically and by using the data (the number of employees, value added, total capacity of power equipment and etc.) obtained from second sources in terms of country, regional values were obtained. By applying cluster analysis to total and factorial producti vity values calculated in terms of regions, tree clusters were obtained as low, average and high. Due to its appropriateness with the purpose of the study, box-plot graphical representation was prefer- red and in the analysis statistical program was used.
