ADMISSION
All graduates from high schools and their equivalents in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Turkey, and other countries who pass the entrance exam are admitted to our university.
As of our University’s Constitution, our student profile consists of students from the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Turkey, citizens of other Turkic Republics and members of Turkic and Relative Communities.
The quota for admission is determined every year by the Board of Trustees.
Students From Kazakhstan
Students who are citizens of Kazakhstan are admitted according to their scores on the student selection exam administered by Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Science, and in compliance with the quota.
Students From Turkey
Selection, Admission, and Placement of students from Turkey is carried out by Student Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM) according to the prescribed type of scores for respective departments. Every year Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Science grants a restricted number of scholarships in formal education. Students who recieve scholarships have tuition-free education, and they also recieve financial assistance.
It is required that students who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey must be enrolled into the School of English Language for one year, and they must pass this class. Students who fail the preparatory class will be dismissed from the University. Apart from the preparatory class, if undergraduate students, who do not take all courses in the related curriculum of their class in the academic calendar, fail the class, they can continue their education by paying their tuition upon the condition that they justify their excuses in accordance with the articles of Regulations Related to Teaching, Examinations, and Assessment.
Students are required to pay for their round trips from Turkey to Kazakhstan (the city of Turkistan) or vice versa, accommation, or individual expenses. The arrival of the students who gain admission to our university is coordinated by the Board of Trustees soon after students complete their visa process and passport procedures.
It is required that students who study at the preparatory class must stay in dormitory. The dormitory fee is annually 12.500 Tenge (almost 85 USD).
Offical student registration is carried out by the Presidency of University.
Students From the Turkish World
Selections of students from Turkic Republics and Turkic and Relative Communities are organized by official instition(s). Selections of students from some countries and areas are held through the examinations, administered by the Presidency of University.
Selection and placement is carried out by the Board of Trustees and the Presidency of University. |
