Our university operates under the direction of a Board of Trustees consisting of ten members, five of whom are appointed by the Republic of Turkey and five by the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Head of the Board of Trustees is appointed directly by the President of the Republic of Turkey.

  

The period of duty for the members of the Board of Trustees is seven years.

 

The Head of the Board of Trustees is Prof. Dr. Osman HORATA, who is at the same time the Head of the AKDTYK Atatürk Cultural Center. The Rector of the University is Prof. Dr. Lesbek TAŞİMOV.

 

The University also has an Acting Rector / First Deputy Rector appointed for five years by the Higher Education Council of the Republic of Turkey. Prof. Dr. Mahir NAKİP, the Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences of Erciyes University, has been performing this duty since 4 June 2008.
